Description
A long time favorite in our gardens and one the butterflies and hummingbirds will thank you for planting, the ‘Little Joe’Joe Pye Weed is a more compact North American Native selection that produces large 10 inch diameter dome-shape clusters of mauve-purple flowers all summer long and into early fall. At only 3 to 4 feet tall, Little Joe grows bushier than the species with tighter flower clusters that put on a spectacular show in the summer garden. Erect stems are clothed in lance-shaped dark green leaves that contrast nicely with the purple spotted stems.Â
